Main Activities

Members of the Kansai Stanford Club (KSC) shall be alumni, students and their parents, people who are or were research associates, and visiting scholars or teachers of Stanford University, who are or formerly were living in the Kansai area (roughly from Aichi Prefecture to Hyogo Prefecture). The Kansai Stanford Club is listed on the home page of the Stanford Alumni Association (SAA) as a regional club in Asia/Japan.

The purpose of KSC is to exchange information and to promote friendship among members while corresponding with Stanford students and teachers. KSC is not a subordinate organization of the Japan Stanford Association (JSA), but includes many members of JSA living in the Kansai area.
